Typical Application: Generally used for sanding and polishing the inside or outside radius of round objects.
About: Spiral wound bands are designed for use on parts with an inside or outside radius. The can be used for removing parting lines, weld splatter, burrs, or other surface imperfections. The spiral construction helps prevent shadow marks and allows for a smooth cut. Close tolerances can be achieved on round or curved objects and difficult-to-reach areas. Mounted on a rubber expanding drum and are easy to change out. Only available in aluminum oxide.
Construction: Made with heavy “X” weight resin bond cloth from 24 to 320 grit. Stocked sizes are 1”x 1” and 2” x 2”, many other sizes available as a special order, minimum quantities will apply. Sold by the box.
