About: This buff is constructed in the shape of a cone, it is a firm buff and generally used to buff and polish inside diameters where there is no bottom to be polished. Construction: Suitable grades of unbleached muslin are used. These buffs are made up from full discs of the required diameter die cut from the proper material. The discs are then counted and turned to the desired ply. The sections are sewed with concentric sewing and then hand sewed together. The buffs are raked for increased uniformity and a shorter break-in time. The arbor hole is hardened with shellac to help prevent over stretching.
Sizes: 1-1/2", 2", 2-1/2", 3", and 3-1/2" diameter. The length is approximately the same as the diameter.
Precautions: Wear appropriate safety clothing, respiratory, and eye protection during use. Requires the use of a cone point mandrel or tapered spindle for proper mounting and safe operation.
