Our Merit abrasives discs offer superior cleaning and surface preparation with high-quality scotch brite material. These versatile buff and blend discs are perfect for a broad range of applications, from general cleaning to finishing and more. The durable, non-woven construction conforms well to help preserve irregular or contoured surfaces, and the open-web material resists loading and keeps the abrasive minerals cutting at high performance.

Description: Surface preparation discs.

Typical Application: Metal finishing. Used for light to moderate stock removal, deburring, and blending operations on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. About: Surface preparation discs are generally used on portable power and air tools for surface preparation and blending. They are a somewhat rigid disc that is more aggressive than the buffing disc counterpart.

Construction: Made from a thick layer of non-woven nylon fibers impregnated with aluminum oxide abrasive grain bonded to a reinforced non-woven nylon backing material. Available in very fine, fine, medium, and coarse grits.

Sizes: Stock diameter discs are 5". Other diameters available as a special order. Minimum order quantities will apply.

Precautions: Wear appropriate safety clothing, respiratory, and eye protection during use.
